York Capital Management and STAM Europe acquire the office campus of GlaxoSmithKline in the western area of Paris

An entity controlled by affiliates of York Capital Management and STAM Europe has acquired a 28,000 sqm office campus in Marly-le-Roi close to the Chateau de Versailles.

The property is built on a 5 ha park, surrounded by gardens and water fountains. High quality buildings are also divisible and feature a prestigious main entrance hall, a restaurant, a fitness area, an auditorium and concierge services. The asset was conceived with the highest environmental standards and received multiple green certifications, including BREAM Very Good.

STAM Europe will be responsible for the investment and asset management initiatives on behalf of the partnership. The property, which is mainly vacant after the departure of GSK, offers a number of value creation opportunities, including the potential to create a total of 55,000 sqm of offices for a large user willing to establish its operations on one campus.
